Ruidoso, New Mexico

Friday

We started our trip too Ruidoso, New Mexico

Purpose of Trip.

35th Anniversary!!!

Friday Night we arrived at Roswell, New Mexico.

This Town is famous for the UFO crash in 1947.

We had been there before and there was nothing new.

At a a very good Mexican food Place..LOL

Saturday morning we traveled to Lincoln New Mexico,

Famous for the Lincoln county war, cattle and freight.

Long Story but Billy the Kid and Pat Garret was in this cattle war.

We visited the Museum and they have 3 of them, plus the extra buildings

that events happened.

Here is one pic of the main museum.

Right outside this museum is a Hogan, Apache one... Apaches did

not live in tepies. Some People think they did, Plains Native Americans did.

 

After Lincoln, we traveled to Capitan.

Smokey Bear Historical Park.

Cool Place.

Don't Laugh... I was cold that morning..

Cool Museum..

That have a walk around Park outside with Smokey's grave too.

Lots of trees, all with there names. The day we visited the Kids

at Capitan was having a Easter Egg Hunt...
